Montravius Hall is a father, a hardworking Mississippian, and a proud Democrat running to represent Mississippi’s 1st Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Born and raised in Red Banks, Mississippi, Montravius is no stranger to the challenges that everyday families face, because he’s lived them.
A graduate of Holly Springs High School, Montravius went on to attend Mississippi State University. Although financial hardships prevented him from finishing his degree, his commitment to serving others and fighting for what's right never wavered. With a background in the workforce and as a licensed realtor, he understands the struggles and aspirations of working families across Mississippi, not from a distance, but through lived experience.
As a father, Montravius is deeply invested in building a future where our children can thrive. His campaign is rooted in the belief that quality public education, access to affordable healthcare, and a secure future for our seniors through Social Security are not privileges they’re promises worth fighting for.
Montravius is also committed to restoring faith in government by working across the aisle. He believes that progress doesn’t come from party lines, but from principled leadership, honest conversation, and a willingness to listen.
This campaign isn’t about politics as usual, it’s about people. It's about making sure that Mississippi’s working families finally have a voice in Congress that truly represents them.
